Trader consensus prices the Chicago Cubs at 42% implied probability to win the 2026 NL Central, buoyed by their top-ranked farm system featuring prospects like Cade Horton and Moises Ballesteros, complementing a young core of Pete Crow-Armstrong, Seiya Suzuki, and Dansby Swanson after a competitive 2024 push to the playoffs. Milwaukee Brewers sit at 31% as defending division champs with a stout rotation led by Freddy Peralta, though small-market payroll constraints limit offseason aggression. Pittsburgh Pirates' 19% reflects ace Paul Skenes' Rookie of the Year buzz and young arms like Jared Jones, fueling rebuild momentum. Cincinnati Reds hold 17.5% on Elly De La Cruz's star power and Hunter Greene's velocity, while St. Louis Cardinals trail at 6.1% amid an aging roster, Paul Goldschmidt's decline, and Nolan Arenado trade rumors following their sub-.500 2024. Recent Winter Meetings yielded minor roster tweaks, with Cubs' depth edging projections.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the team whose listed nickname comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named the 2026 National League Central division champion per the rules of the MLB (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”.
If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Baseball (https://www.mlb.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
