This market will resolve to "Yes" if the microphones of the candidates are muted specifically while the other candidate is speaking during the ABC-hosted presidential debate, currently scheduled for September 10, 2024. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No."
If the September 10, 2024, debate is postponed, this market will apply to the first ABC-hosted presidential debate that occurs before the 2024 election. If no ABC-hosted presidential debate occurs before the 2024 election this market will resolve to "No".
The muting of the candidate's microphones after their allotted speaking time for a question runs up will NOT qualify - the policy of muting must specifically apply to when the other candidate is speaking.
The resolution source will be the official debate broadcast and information from ABC, however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. This market will resolve to "Yes" if the microphones of the candidates are muted specifically while the other candidate is speaking during the ABC-hosted presidential debate, currently scheduled for September 10, 2024.
