This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Close price for Meta Platforms, Inc. (META) on August 12, 2026 is higher than the listed price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed security during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Pyth after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market will be Pyth, specifically the "Close" values for the relevant 1-minute candle available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.META%2FUSD.Meta's stock has shown sharp volatility following its late-July Q2 2026 earnings release, where revenue beat estimates but EPS missed amid raised 2026 AI capital expenditure guidance of $130–145 billion and sharply lower free cash flow. Traders are monitoring the ongoing rebound from an early-August 52-week low near $520 toward the $590–600 range, supported by a broader tech rally and the August 10 release of Meta's open-weight Muse Glimmer large language model. Key factors include sustained ad revenue growth from AI tools like value optimization, competitive positioning against other AI labs, and concerns over infrastructure costs that could pressure margins or trigger regulatory scrutiny. Upcoming catalysts center on any intraday momentum or broader market moves on August 12 itself.
