**Jaxson Dart, the New York Giants' second-year quarterback, suffered a significant left knee injury early in Week 2 against the Rams, requiring surgery to address meniscus, MCL, and PCL damage with his ACL intact.** He has been placed on injured reserve and will miss the remainder of the 2026 regular season, locking in his passing touchdown total at three—all recorded in the Week 1 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Jameis Winston has taken over as the starter, shifting the Giants' offensive plans for the remaining 15 games. While coach John Harbaugh left open a slim possibility of a postseason return depending on recovery, the regular-season market outcome is now determined by Dart's limited early production and the confirmed long-term absence.
