Mercedes' overwhelming single-lap pace across FP1, FP2, and FP3 sessions at Suzuka, capped by Kimi Antonelli's pole position and George Russell's P2 in qualifying, drives trader consensus to 70.5% implied probability for the Silver Arrows to claim the fastest lap point. Antonelli's 1:29.362s FP3 benchmark and Mercedes' 1-2 lockout underscore their superior qualifying simulation speed and tire management on the demanding Suzuka layout. McLaren's Oscar Piastri topped FP2 but trails in quali, supporting their 10% share amid reliability concerns for Lando Norris; Ferrari's Charles Leclerc in P3 quali elevates them to 12%, while Red Bull's struggles drop them to 6% despite upgrades. No major weather disruptions noted ahead of Sunday's race.

If the 2026 F1 Japanese Grand Prix is canceled or rescheduled to a date after Apr 5, 2026, this market will resolve to "Other."
This market will resolve in favor of the constructor team whose driver is officially credited with the fastest lap in the Final Classification published by the FIA following the conclusion of the race. The fastest lap must be set during the race itself; times from practice sessions, qualifying, or any other sessions are not considered.
If no driver completes a lap during the race (e.g., due to a red flag ending the race prematurely), this market will resolve to "Other."
The resolution source will be the official Formula 1 website and a consensus of credible sports news reporting.
