Mumbai Indians lead trader consensus at 27.5% implied probability for IPL 2026 champion thanks to their retained powerhouse core—Jasprit Bumrah, Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, and Trent Boult—forming a balanced attack with elite pace trio and explosive batting depth, affirmed by a commanding six-wicket win over KKR in their opener. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (15%) impressed with a six-wicket opener triumph against SRH, driven by Virat Kohli's form and additions like Phil Salt, though Josh Hazlewood's early absence tempers momentum. Punjab Kings (12.5%) boast Shreyas Iyer's leadership, Yuzvendra Chahal's spin, and Arshdeep Singh's pace in a batting-heavy 21-player retention, while Rajasthan Royals (8.6%) gained from Ravindra Jadeja trade amid a wide-open field post-December auction and trades. Early results highlight upsets potential in T20 format.
