Mumbai Indians lead trader consensus at 29.5% implied probability for IPL 2026 champion thanks to their post-auction balanced squad—retaining Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, and Jasprit Bumrah—bolstered by an early dominant win that vaulted them into the top four on net run rate after one match. Royal Challengers Bengaluru at 15% ride Virat Kohli's fifty and Devdutt Padikkal's explosive 61-ball knock in a six-wicket opener triumph over Sunrisers Hyderabad at Chinnaswamy, showcasing batting firepower and home advantage. Punjab Kings' 13.5% reflects smart core retentions under Shreyas Iyer and a gritty victory over Gujarat Titans despite the captain's recent wrist injury scare, positioning them fifth early. Rajasthan Royals top the table on superior NRR after one win, while Sunrisers lag post-opener loss, but the wide-open field awaits playoff pushes amid injury waves hitting laggards like KKR.
