**Trader consensus strongly favors "No" on Elon Musk securing full custody of his son Romulus with Ashley St. Clair, reflecting the primary caregiver's established position and the high bar for altering custody arrangements.** St. Clair filed for sole legal custody in early 2025, documenting her role as the child's main parent since his 2024 birth while alleging Musk's limited involvement. Paternity was later confirmed via testing at over 99.9999% probability. Musk's January 2026 announcement of his own full-custody filing, tied to public disagreements over St. Clair's evolving views on transgender issues, has not produced court updates favoring a shift as of recent September 2026 proceedings. Ongoing New York family court activity, combined with St. Clair's focus on providing stability for her two children and recent verified public statements rejecting large NDA offers, reinforces the market's view that dramatic reversals remain unlikely without major new evidence of changed circumstances.
