This market will resolve to “Chestnut” if Joey Chestnut wins the Hot Dog Eating Contest between himself and Takeru Kobayashi.
This market will resolve to “Kobayashi” if Takeru Kobayashi wins the Hot Dog Eating Contest between himself and Joey Chestnut.
The resolution will be based on the official declaration of the winner by the contest judges after tiebreakers, overtime, and deductions, have been considered.
If the contest is canceled, postponed beyond September 9th, this market will resolve to 50-50.

The resolution will be based on the official count of hot dogs and buns consumed by Joey Chestnut as recorded by the contest judges during the 10-minute competition period.
Penalties, which result in deductions from the final count, will be included.
Only hotdogs consumed during the initial 10-minute contest period will be considered for this market - consumption during tiebreakers or additional rounds will not counted towards the resolution.
